In 2007, EducationTube.com was the first organized educational link site on the web. While other video sharing website tried to compete with YouTube, we focused on saving teachers planning time by giving them
access to direct educational links and content organized by subject and skill. In 2011, YouTube took notice of the benefits of an organized educational linking site like EducationTube and launched YouTube School and YouTube Teacher sites. There will soon be much more organization and improvements done on YouTube for education. In the future, we will be promoting lots of YouTube links, school pages, and teacher pages. However, our main focus will still be to implement as many resources as possible (whether it be from YouTube or other educational sites) to make it easier for teachers to implement multimedia in their classroom.
